1981 business start-up by Ulrich H. Grass as a private held company

development of individual software solutions based on IBM /34, /36, /38 and AS400.

1981 - 1990 

Shop floor-System with integration of a large number of cross-linked  EPSON Handheld HX20 for PAG in Essen, Germany.

1991 - 2000

Ulrich Grass develops the first machine-readable dustbin with RFID-Technology and wins the "CUSANUS" Innovation-Award  (Koblenz, 1992) .

Change in the corporate structure  to a incorporated enterprise, GRASS GmbH (Limited), Company for Consulting and Software Development (in german "Gesellschaft für Beratung und Softwareentwicklung")

First activities in the Films Industry-, ERP-Functionalities (Purchase, Sales, Distribution, Shipping), Shop Floor System based on AS 400 technology for Kloeckner Pentaplast, Montabaur, Germany

Individual software development: Wine cellar book keeping and tracking system, F.W. Langguth Erben, Traben-Trarbach, Germany

Individual software: Shop Floor System for Plastic Films Production 

Rollout to Kloeckner Pentaplast Plants, Montabaur and Gendorf, Germany

     

Frank Hahn becomes general manager of GRASS GmbH

Standard-MES-System: The industry specific Shop Floor System gets redesigned and enhanced to the Standard-MES-System coAgo for the Films Industry and all rolled material manufacturers

Nordenia Deutschland Gronau decides to implement coAgo as a standard MES-System

2007 Neoplastica S.A., Santo Tirso, Portugal, implements the Films specific Shop Floor System

2007 Renolit AG, Plant Worms implements coAgo as standard MES 

2008 Renolit AG, Plant Waldkraiburg implements coAgo as standard MES 

2009 American Renolit Corporation implements coAgo as standard MES 

2009 successful roll-out to a Russian plant

2009 corporate succession: The company's founder and shareholder, Mr. Ulrich H. Grass, retires from the Board.  Frank Hahn is appointed sole CEO .
