Benefits for quality management

Quality Management

In highly sensible industries like the food and pharmaceutical industry the abidance to quality norms and the permanent surveillance of tolerances and critical values are substantial criteria for success and a commitment to responsibility.

The COAGO MES quality module works parallel to the process chain and along the value-added process. COAGO MES backs the whole chain beginning with goods receipt to the first mother or master or jumbo roles and in further phases to the converting and slitting processes up to the final checkpoint and the packaging of finished good.

The advantage of an integrated solution from one cast is that the users on every check point or terminal within the work flow of the company have an easy access to the system. Blocked rolls at the machine are noticed immediately by the QC. QC then can make the needed decisions weather approval or rejection. The to be checked inspection characteristics are linked to authorization of the check points or the user himself..

Inspection results are collected instantly, timesaving, efficient and with interfaces to the inspection equipment. Those results are immediately available to all involved persons.

The most important features in a summary:

Inspection planning
  • administration of inspection characteristics with target values, tolerances, warning and action limits
  • dynamic deduction of values like tolerances or limits from target values as relative, absolute or delta-figures
  • inspection frequency and static procedure operations for inspections
  • inspection plan generation und differentiation, variations and versioning
  • inspection plan determination orientated on order content, e.g. material or machine or customer specific
  • inspection plan copies for the production order as inspection lot
  • sampling procedures guarantee the execution of QC-inspection at dedicated spot in the production
Inspection result acquisition
  • at check points, e.g. machine, test desk or test laboratory
  • manual inspection data acquisition
  • interfaces for connecting inspection equipment
  • decision making for usage of blocked rolls or format piles
